Metal drill 4,5 mm with Morse taper shank for steel, type NWKc, in accordance with DIN 345. Designed for drilling through-holes and blind holes in materials of class P1.2 - P1.3. It is a drill for metal, hard carbon steels, aluminum, copper, metal alloys and plastics. It is characterized by increased strength to withstand very difficult processing conditions and also the ability to drill at high speeds, during which high temperatures are generated (up to 600 degrees C). Drill bits for metal 4,5 are produced from modern HSS high-speed steel, using the rolling method. It is suitable for both amateur machining and industrial use with conventional and numerical computer-controlled machine tools. The drill bit is characterized by increased resistance to possible mechanical damage, such as breaking, cracking, chipping, dulling.
