Diamond dressers are designed for profiling and sharpening ceramic-bonded grinding wheels, in order to eliminate the wheel's circularity errors of its radial and axial runout, or to remove contaminated and dulled working layer. Diamond multi-grain dressers can also be used when dressing grinding wheels made of super-hard materials such as diamond or borazon.
