Transameters (also called passameter) are sensing instruments designed to control deviations of geometric dimensions of products.
Precision transameters offer
The device has a lever-and-tooth gearbox, adapted to perform accurate measurements of external surfaces, such as shaft diameters.
There are 3 products.
Measurement is made by comparative method with reference to the size of the standard. Transameters, depending on their type, can have a mechanical dial sensor or an electronic sensor.
The elementary division of the sensor is 0.002 mm or 0.005 mm, while the measuring ranges of passameters are graduated in 25-millimeter increments. In their external structure, passameters somewhat resemble sensor micrometers, but instead of a micrometer screw they have a clamping screw without a scale.
