Die M36X3 HSS DIN 22568 – large-diameter metric fine threads
For cutting external threads with a diameter of 36 mm and a fine pitch of 3 mm on large shafts and structural components. M36X3 metric die made of high-speed steel (HSS) hardened to 64 HRC in accordance with DIN 22568 (Deutsches Institut für Normung – German Institute for Standardization) provides durability under intensive industrial conditions. The tool is intended for manufacturing facilities, mechanical workshops, and toolrooms machining large steel structures.

Frequently asked questions
Chamfer the edge of the shaft at 45°, secure the workpiece in a lathe chuck or specialized fixture, and guide the die perpendicular to it. Turn with controlled pressure, reversing half a turn after every two turns and applying plenty of threading lubricant.
The tool is designed for threading structural steels with a maximum tensile strength of 800 MPa, as well as gray cast iron and aluminum alloys. Do not use on materials with a hardness exceeding 40 HRC.
Class 6g represents general-purpose accuracy with a clearance fit that allows nuts to be installed easily while maintaining sufficient strength. It is the most popular standard in machinery manufacturing and large structures.
