Frequently asked questions
The tool performs very well in steels with a tensile strength not exceeding 800 MPa, cast iron, and aluminum. For stainless steels, the cobalt-containing HSSE version is a better choice.
The M35x3 metric fine thread version has a pitch of 3 mm instead of the standard 4 mm. This increases the thread contact area and improves stability in joints operating under vibration.
Select a die stock with an inside diameter matching the outside diameter of the die specified in DIN 22 568. For larger thread diameters, verifying compatibility before purchase is particularly important.
