7.1 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. An advanced straight-shank twist drill with a diameter of 7.1 mm for drilling through and blind holes. Drills of this type feature a 118° point angle, 2 central cutting edges, helical flutes for chip evacuation, and strong ground cutting edges resistant to impact and lateral forces. These drills offer exceptional cutting performance. Above all, they resist mechanical damage and allow drilling in very hard and difficult-to-machine materials. This results from the use of advanced HSSE high-speed steel, with cobalt as a key constituent (approximately 5%). Tools made from this material offer significantly better cutting performance than tools made from conventional tool steel. In particular, they can be used to machine very hard materials such as alloy steels, cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, and heat-resistant steel. 7.1 mm cobalt drill bits for metal are suitable for professional machining using conventional drilling machines as well as modern CNC machine tools.
