Ø3.9 Inox cobalt drill bit for metal
3.9 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A straight-shank twist drill manufactured in accordance with dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338. It features two central cutting edges and helical flutes that provide efficient chip evacuation up the hole. The drills we offer are manufactured from special HSS-E cobalt high-speed steel, with 5% cobalt as its main alloying component. This enables the drills to withstand demanding operating conditions and allows drilling at very high speeds, which generates very high temperatures. The drills withstand temperatures of up to 670°C. Thanks to the properties of HSSE cobalt steel, the drills enable highly productive and precise machining. They are suitable for drilling holes in components made of alloy steels, acid-resistant steels, cast iron, cast steel, stainless steels and heat-resistant steels. 3.9 mm cobalt drill bit for metal is recommended for conventional drilling machines, milling machines and lathes, as well as CNC (computer numerical control) machine tools.
