9.1 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A professional straight-shank twist drill conforming to the NWKa, DIN 338 dimensional standard. It features a diameter of 9.1 mm, 2 central cutting edges, strong ground cutting edges, and helical flutes for rapid chip evacuation upward through the hole being drilled. Straight-shank drills of this type deliver very high cutting performance. This results from the modern HSSE cobalt high-speed steel used in their manufacture. This steel enables the drills to withstand demanding cutting conditions and resist all forms of mechanical damage (cracking, breakage, dulling). The drills offered also enable highly efficient and precise drilling. The addition of cobalt allows through holes and blind holes to be drilled in very hard materials such as alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, gray cast iron, ductile cast iron, and cast steel. 9.1 mm cobalt drill bit for metal is intended for large metalworking shops, for use with drilling machines, lathes, milling machines, and modern CNC machine tools.
