Ø8.4 Inox cobalt drill bit for metal
8.4 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A professional twist drill with a smooth straight shank, manufactured to dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338 from special HSSE high-speed steel. This is an exceptional tool steel with cobalt as a key constituent (approximately 5%). The drills offered in our store feature 2 central cutting edges, special flutes for rapid chip evacuation up the hole, a 118° point angle, and ground cutting edges resistant to impact. This drill construction ensures very good cutting performance and helps reduce machining costs. In particular, the drills enable high-productivity drilling by allowing higher drilling speeds and consequently shorter machining times. Even at the high temperatures generated during high-speed drilling, the drill cutting edges do not retain high resistance to mechanical damage such as breakage, cracking, chipping, and even dulling. As a result, the drills can be used for a long time without needing replacement. 8.4 mm cobalt drill bit for metal is suitable for machining very hard materials (alloy steel, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, cast steel, cast iron).
