Ø2.7 Inox cobalt drill bit for metal
2.7 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A professional twist drill with a plain straight shank, manufactured in accordance with dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338. It features 2 central cutting edges and helical flutes for efficient chip evacuation up the hole being drilled. In addition, the drills we offer have a point angle of 118°, and the holes they produce maintain axial alignment along their entire length. The drills deliver very high cutting performance thanks to their construction from high-alloy HSSE high-speed steel with 5% cobalt. This steel enables the drills to withstand very demanding cutting conditions, including the high temperatures (up to 670°C) generated during high-speed drilling. The tools also exhibit high resistance to mechanical damage (breakage, cracking, chipping and dulling), which significantly extends their service life. They can be used to drill holes in alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant and high-temperature-strength steels, as well as cast steel and cast iron. 2.7 mm cobalt drill bits for metal are recommended for conventional drilling machines, lathes, milling machines and computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools.
