5.5 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. Professional straight-shank twist drill complying with the NWKa, DIN 338 dimensional standard, designed for drilling through holes and blind holes with a diameter of 5.5 mm. It features strong ground cutting edges resistant to impact and lateral forces, as well as helical flutes that evacuate chips up the hole. These drills are made from modern high-grade high-speed steel with approximately 5% cobalt – HSSE. This advanced material is used to manufacture cutting tools for large metalworking facilities. The properties of this steel enable high cutting productivity, thereby reducing machining time. In addition, these straight-shank drills are exceptionally durable and resistant to extreme thermal conditions and other severe operating conditions. Even at the high temperatures (up to 670°) generated during high-speed cutting, the drills retain their high performance and enable precise hole drilling (with low surface roughness). 5.5 mm cobalt drill bit for metal is recommended for all professionals.
