3.1 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A straight-shank twist drill compliant with NWKa, DIN 338, designed for professional drilling of through and blind holes in very hard and difficult-to-machine materials. The drill features 2 central cutting edges, a point angle of 118°, strong cutting edges and special flutes for rapid chip evacuation up the hole being drilled. The high cutting performance of these drills results primarily from their construction from special HSSE cobalt high-speed steel. This exceptional tool steel is used to manufacture professional tools for machining difficult-to-machine materials. Its advantages enable high-productivity drilling, which is essential for better utilization of available workstations and shorter machining times. The drills provide greater drilling accuracy (holes have low surface roughness). In addition, they withstand demanding operating conditions, including the very high temperatures generated during high-speed drilling. Their cutting edges rarely suffer breakage, cracking, chipping or other damage. 3.1 mm cobalt drill bits for metal can be used on drilling machines, lathes, milling machines and CNC machine tools.
