7 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A professional straight-shank twist drill manufactured to the dimensional standard designated NWKa, DIN 338. It features a diameter of 7 mm, 2 central cutting edges, a 118° point angle, helical flutes for chip evacuation upward through the hole, and ground cutting edges resistant to lateral forces and impacts. Our straight-shank drills are manufactured from special HSSE high-speed steel with the addition of 5% cobalt. This is a special tool steel with very good cutting performance. Above all, it enables highly efficient and very accurate drilling. This reduces cutting time and allows better use of available workstations. Cobalt steel straight-shank drills resist mechanical damage during machining of very hard and difficult-to-machine materials such as alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, cast steel, and cast iron. 7 mm cobalt metal drill bits, designed for professional machining using conventional and CNC machine tools.
