Ø2.4 Inox cobalt drill bit for metal
2.4 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. Advanced straight shank twist drill designed for all professional drilling operations. Manufactured to the NWKa, DIN 338 dimensional standard from high-alloy cobalt high-speed steel HSSE with 5% cobalt added. This steel composition increases drill hardness and wear resistance at temperatures up to 670°C. As a result, the drills are more durable and offer a very long service life. They have 2 central cutting edges, a cutting point angle of 118°, and special flutes that evacuate chips upward out of the hole being drilled. The drills can be used to drill very hard materials (alloy steels, stainless steels, gray cast iron, ductile cast iron, cast steel, acid-resistant steels, heat-resistant steels). These tools are suitable for precision machining in large metalworking shops where high productivity and high drilling accuracy are required. 2.4 mm cobalt drill bits for metal are suitable for conventional drilling machines, lathes, and milling machines, as well as modern computer-controlled machine tools.
