1.7 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. High-quality Inox cobalt twist drill bit with a straight shank, made from advanced high-alloy HSSE high-speed steel. This steel enables exceptionally accurate drilling, allows operation under demanding conditions, and increases cutting efficiency. These superior cutting properties of high-speed steel mean that our 1.7 cobalt drill bit for metal can be used to machine alloy steels, stainless steels, acid-resistant steels, cast iron, and cast steel. High machining quality is primarily due to the addition of cobalt (5%), which further improves the cutting performance of high-speed steel. The drill bits are manufactured to the NWKa DIN 338 dimensional standard. They feature two central cutting edges and flutes that improve chip evacuation up the drilled hole. The strong, ground cutting edges withstand impacts and lateral forces. These NWKa drill bits also improve drilling accuracy even in very hard materials, with a low risk of cutting edge damage. They can be used on drilling machines, milling machines, and lathes. Suitable for all professional applications.
