2.8 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A professional twist drill with a plain straight shank, manufactured in accordance with the Polish dimensional standard NWKa and its earlier counterpart DIN 338. It is designed for machining very hard materials such as alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, gray and ductile cast iron, and cast steel. The drill features a point angle of 118°, 2 central cutting edges, ground cutting edges and special flutes for chip evacuation up the hole. 2.8 mm cobalt drill bit for metal is manufactured from special high-grade HSSE high-speed steel with 5% cobalt. This component significantly increases cutting edge durability and hardness, making the drill more resistant to demanding cutting conditions. The HSSE drill enables very high cutting productivity, significantly reducing machining time and improving the utilization of available machine tools (drilling machines, lathes, milling machines and CNC machine tools).
