1.3 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. Advanced straight-shank Inox cobalt twist drill manufactured to the NWKa, DIN 338 dimensional standard. Designed for drilling holes with a diameter of 1.3 mm in very hard and difficult-to-machine materials. The straight-shank drills in our range are made from advanced high-speed steel with 5% added cobalt – HSSE. This enhanced tool steel provides higher cutting productivity, greater machining precision, and, above all, the ability to cut hard materials such as alloy steels, heat- and acid-resistant steels, stainless steels, cast steel, cast iron, and others. These 1.3 cobalt drill bit for metal feature two central cutting edges and a 118° point angle, while special flutes efficiently evacuate chips up the hole. The drills are exceptionally durable under very demanding operating conditions. They ensure resistance of the cutting edges to all types of mechanical damage, as well as high resistance to breakage, cracking, and other types of mechanical damage.
