Ø7.9 Inox cobalt drill bit for metal
7.9 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. Advanced straight-shank twist drill bit with a diameter of 7.9 mm, intended for professional machining of exceptionally durable and difficult-to-machine materials. The drill bits feature 2 central cutting edges, a 118° point angle, helical flutes for chip evacuation up the drilled hole, and strong, ground cutting edges that withstand impacts and lateral forces.
A clear advantage of these drill bits is that they are made from special HSSE cobalt high-speed steel. This steel contains 5% added cobalt, which significantly improves drilling capabilities under demanding conditions. The drill bits withstand high-speed drilling, which generates high temperatures (up to 670°). Even under such extreme conditions, the drill cutting edges do not suffer breakage, cracking, chipping, or other damage. The drill bits are suitable for machining alloy steels, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, acid-resistant steel, cast iron, and cast steel. 7.9 mm cobalt drill bit for metal is intended for drilling machines, milling machines, and lathes, as well as CNC machine tools.
