Ø2.1 Inox cobalt drill bit for metal
2.1 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. Advanced twist drill with a smooth straight shank and a diameter of 2.1 mm. Designed for drilling through holes and blind holes in hard materials that are difficult to machine. These include alloy steels, stainless steels, acid-resistant steels, heat-resistant steels, cast steel, gray cast iron, and ductile cast iron. The ability to cut such hard materials results from the advanced high-speed steel with 5% cobalt added – HSSE – used in the manufacture of these drills. This tool steel composition allows increased machining productivity, reducing machining time and improving utilization of available workstations. The drills retain high cutting performance even during high-speed drilling, which generates high temperatures of up to 670°C. The drills have special helical flutes that efficiently evacuate chips upward out of the hole being drilled, as well as ground cutting edges that withstand strong lateral forces and impacts. 2.1 mm cobalt drill bits for metal are designed for conventional drilling machines, milling machines, lathes, and computer-controlled CNC machine tools.
