5.8 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. High-quality straight-shank twist drill with a diameter of 5.8 mm, designed for drilling through holes and blind holes in very hard and difficult-to-machine materials in categories P1.2 – P1.5. These include alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, gray and ductile cast iron, cast steel, and nonferrous metals. The drills feature strong cutting edges, special flutes for evacuating chips from the holes, and 2 central cutting edges. They are manufactured to the NWKa, DIN 338 standard from special high-grade HSSE high-speed steel, in which cobalt is a key constituent. The combination of the drills' specific design features and the properties of cobalt steel gives these drills very high cutting performance. They resist all types of mechanical damage, extending their service life and reducing machining costs. In addition, the drills enable high-speed drilling and reduce machining time. Cobalt drill bit for metal, 5.8 is intended for large metalworking facilities and workshops.
