Ø3.6 Inox cobalt drill bit for metal
3.6 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A high-grade straight-shank twist drill for drilling through and blind holes in very hard and difficult-to-machine materials (alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, cast steel and cast iron). Drills of this type feature 2 central cutting edges with strong cutting margins resistant to impacts and lateral forces. Their special flutes enable rapid chip evacuation up the hole being drilled. The straight-shank drills we offer are manufactured in accordance with dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338 from special high-alloy HSSE high-speed steel, with cobalt (5%) as its main alloying component. This tool steel composition improves cutting performance and machining productivity and, above all, increases drill hardness and durability. Thanks to HSSE steel, the drills resist breakage, cracking, chipping and other types of mechanical damage. 3.6 mm cobalt drill bits for metal are suitable for conventional drilling machines and computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools.
