8.7 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. NWKa, DIN 338 straight-shank twist drill with a diameter of 8.7 mm. Designed for professional machining of hard unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys and plastics. Drills of this type feature 2 central cutting edges, strong cutting edges and special flutes for evacuating chips from the hole being drilled. The straight-shank drills offered are made of special HSS-E high-speed steel, with cobalt as a key constituent at approximately 5%. The addition of this element enables high-speed drilling at temperatures up to 670°. In addition, cobalt drill bits withstand very demanding cutting conditions and resist breakage, cracking, edge fracture and other mechanical damage. These drills enable highly productive and precise machining. The holes remain axially aligned over their entire length and have low surface roughness. 8.7 cobalt metal drill bits are intended for drilling machines, lathes, milling machines and CNC machine tools.
