6.8 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox for an M8 tap. Twist drill with a smooth straight shank, designed for professional drilling of through holes and blind holes in high-hardness materials. Drills of this type have strong cutting edges that withstand impacts and lateral forces, as well as special helical flutes for rapid chip evacuation up the hole being drilled. They are manufactured to the NWKa, DIN 338 dimensional standard from special HSSE high-speed steel with 5% cobalt added. Thanks to the properties of this steel, the drills are highly resistant to varying operating conditions, including thermal shocks caused by high drilling speeds. 6.8 mm cobalt metal drill bits, enable highly productive and accurate drilling. Cobalt steel significantly enhances cutting capabilities, even in very hard materials. It enables machining of difficult-to-machine alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant and heat-resistant steels, and even cast steel, cast iron and nonferrous metals.
