5.1 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A modern NWKa, DIN 338 drill with a diameter of 5.1 mm for drilling through holes and blind holes, designed for machining very hard and difficult-to-machine materials. These include alloy steels, gray and ductile cast iron, cast steel, heat-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, and stainless steel. Offered by us cobalt drill bits for metal, 5.1 mm are made from very modern HSSE high-speed steel, with approximately 5% cobalt as a key constituent. This element significantly increases the steel's hardness and durability. It enables highly efficient drilling, even under extreme thermal conditions (known as thermal shock). This allows higher cutting speeds and therefore shorter overall machining times. Another major advantage of cobalt steel drills is their resistance to various forms of mechanical damage, which noticeably extends their service life. These tools are recommended for conventional and CNC machine tools.
