3.7 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A high-grade professional twist drill with a plain straight shank and a diameter of 3.7 mm. Drills of this type comply with dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338. The straight-shank drills available in our store feature 2 central cutting edges, a point angle of 118°, flutes for chip evacuation up the hole being drilled, and specially ground cutting edges resistant to impacts and lateral forces. The drills exhibit high cutting performance, and their cutting edges withstand very demanding operating conditions and resist breakage, cracking, chipping and other types of damage. This results from their construction from special HSSE cobalt high-speed steel with 5% cobalt. This modern tool steel increases cutting productivity, reducing machining time and improving the utilization of available workstations. In addition, the drills enable more precise machining, and the resulting holes have low surface roughness. 3.7 mm cobalt drill bit for metal is suitable for conventional drilling machines, milling machines, lathes and computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools.
