6.9 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A straight-shank twist drill for drilling through and blind holes with a diameter of 6.9 mm, conforming to dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338. It features 2 central cutting edges, a 118° point angle, helical flutes for evacuating chips up the hole, and ground cutting edges resistant to impact and lateral forces. The drills we offer are manufactured from advanced molybdenum high-speed steel of HSSE grade, with cobalt as a key constituent. This element contributes to the drills' high resistance to severe operating conditions, particularly the high temperatures generated during high-speed drilling. As a result, machining time can be reduced, allowing better utilization of existing workstations. 6.9 cobalt metal drill bits are resistant to breakage, chipping, edge fracture, and other cutting edge damage. They are suitable for machining alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, cast steel, and cast iron.
