3.8 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A straight-shank twist drill compliant with NWKa, DIN 338, with a diameter of 3.8 mm. It features 2 central cutting edges, strong cutting edges, a point angle of 118° and special flutes for chip evacuation up the hole. The straight-shank drills offered have a solid construction, made entirely from modern HSSE high-speed steel with 5% cobalt. This specialized tool steel is used to manufacture tools for professional machining of very hard and difficult-to-machine materials. The drills can be used on components made of alloy steel, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, cast steel and cast iron. The properties of HSSE high-speed steel enable highly productive drilling at high speeds, which generates high temperatures of up to 670°C. As a result, the drills resist all types of mechanical damage and can remain in service for a very long time. 3.8 mm cobalt drill bit for metal is designed for conventional drilling machines and modern computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools.
