Ø3 Inox cobalt drill bit for metal
3 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A specialized twist drill for drilling holes with a diameter of 3.0 mm in very hard and difficult-to-machine materials. It features a plain straight shank, 2 central cutting edges, helical flutes for chip evacuation up the hole, and exceptionally strong ground cutting edges resistant to impacts and lateral forces. The main advantage of the drills we offer is their exceptional ability to withstand demanding operating conditions, including the high temperatures (up to 670°C) generated during drilling at very high speeds. This results from their construction from special HSSE cobalt high-speed steel. The addition of 5% cobalt enables high-productivity drilling, reducing machining time and allowing more efficient utilization of available machining stations. The drill resists breakage, cracking and other mechanical damage. It is suitable for drilling holes in components made of alloy steels, stainless steel, heat- and acid-resistant steels, cast iron and cast steel. Cobalt drill bits for metal, 3.0mm are intended for conventional and computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools.
