Ø3.4 Inox cobalt drill bit for metal
3.4 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A modern straight-shank twist drill with strong cutting edges resistant to impacts and lateral forces. Manufactured from modern HSSE high-speed steel containing 5% cobalt as an important component. The drills comply with dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338. They feature 2 central cutting edges and special flutes for rapid chip evacuation up the hole being drilled. Cobalt steel drills withstand demanding cutting conditions very well and are much more resistant than drills manufactured from conventional tool steel. Their high cutting performance enables high drilling productivity combined with high cutting precision. The resulting holes have low surface roughness and maintain axial alignment along their entire length. High resistance to damage allows them to be used for machining materials such as alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, ductile cast iron, gray cast iron, cast steel and nonferrous metals. 3.4 mm cobalt drill bits for metal are designed for conventional and CNC machine tools.
