2.5 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. Professional twist drill conforming to the NWKa, DIN 338 standard, with a smooth straight shank and a diameter of 2.5 mm. Designed for drilling through holes and blind holes in very hard materials that are difficult to machine, such as alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, nonferrous metals, cast iron, and cast steel. Our tools offer very high resistance to temperatures up to 670°C, as well as high hardness. This results from the special cobalt high-speed steel HSSE used in their manufacture. This steel makes the drills highly productive and resistant to all types of mechanical damage, including breakage, cracking, chipping, and even rapid dulling. The drills have two central cutting edges and special flutes that efficiently evacuate chips upward out of the hole being drilled. They also have ground cutting edges with increased resistance to heavy impacts and lateral forces. 2.5 mm cobalt drill bits for metal are designed for drilling on drilling machines, lathes and milling machines, as well as computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools.
