Ø1.6 Inox cobalt drill bit for metal
1.6 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. Professional Inox NWKa DIN 338 cobalt twist drill with a smooth straight shank. Designed for drilling through holes and blind holes with a diameter of 1.6 mm. Made from advanced, high-grade HSSE cobalt high-speed steel. The addition of approximately 5% cobalt improves the drill's cutting performance while increasing its resistance to the high temperatures generated during drilling and to other demanding operating conditions. Our range of 1.6 cobalt metal drill bit NWKa enable drilling in very hard and difficult-to-machine materials such as alloy steels, acid-resistant steels, stainless steels, heat-resistant steels, ductile and gray cast iron, and cast steel. Straight-shank drills made from HSSE cobalt steel provide very precise drilling and produce holes with low surface roughness. The drills feature two ground central cutting edges, a 118° point angle, and special flutes that evacuate excess cut material up the hole. They are suitable for professional machining on drilling machines, milling machines, and lathes, as well as computer-controlled machine tools.
