Taps are produced from a special high-speed tool steel - HSS. This type of steel is distinguished by higher cutting properties, which affects the achievement of better threading effects. First of all, fine machine threaders made of it are resistant to very difficult working conditions. They enable high-performance machining - at high speeds. As a result, it is possible to reduce the machining time of individual workpieces, and thus make better use of the workstations you have. Long machine taps M24x2 of this type are mainly dedicated to large workshops and locksmith shops - for machining hard and hard-to-machine materials included in the class P1.2 - P1.3.
