Long metal drill fi 3,8 with smooth cylindrical chuck for drilling through-holes and blind holes in very hard and hard-to-machine materials. It has 2 central blades, special grooves for removing chips up the drilled hole and strong ground cutting edges resistant to impact and lateral forces. Long metal drills fi 3.8 of this type comply with the dimensional standard NWKb, DIN 340, and are uniform drills made entirely of special HSS - High Speed Steel. This is a unique tool steel, thanks to which the drills enable high-performance and very precise drilling. The holes made by these drill bits are axial along their entire length and characterized by very low roughness. In addition, drills made of high-speed steel are more resistant to harsh working conditions than drills made of conventional tool steel. Their blades are resistant to fractures, cracks, breakage and chipping. They can be used for conventional drills, lathes and milling machines as well as modern CNC machine tools.
