Modern long drill bit for metal fi 2,5 with smooth cylindrical shank, with a diameter of 2,5 mm for machining very hard materials classified as class P1.2 - P1.3. The long drill bit for metal fi 2,5 has central blades, strong cutting edges, a tip angle of 118 degrees and special spiral grooves. Thanks to these features, the drills are insensitive to impact and lateral forces and also have the function of quickly discharging chips up the drilled hole. They are manufactured in accordance with NWKb, DIN 340 from special HSS high-speed steel. It is a steel that enhances cutting capabilities, especially drilling performance, accuracy and resistance to harsh working conditions. They are resistant to abrasion even under the influence of high temperatures generated when drilling at high speeds. The drill blades are resistant to breaking, cracking, chipping and even dulling. They are suitable for conventional machine tools (drills, milling machines, lathes) as well as for modern computer-controlled numerical control machine tools.
