Ø18.5 Inox cobalt drill bit for metal
18.5 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A high-quality straight-shank twist drill manufactured in accordance with the NWKa, DIN 338 dimensional standard. It features 2 central cutting edges, a 118° point angle, and special flutes that evacuate chips rapidly upward through the hole. Our straight-shank drills can produce holes that remain aligned along their entire length. An advantage of the drills offered is their construction from special HSSE cobalt high-speed steel. The addition of 5% cobalt makes the drills highly resistant to demanding operating conditions, including the high temperatures generated during high-speed drilling. Cobalt drill bits withstand temperatures as high as 670°C. These properties make the drills suitable for machining alloy steels, cast iron, cast steel, stainless steels, and heat-resistant steels. 18.5 mm cobalt drill bits for metal are recommended for conventional drilling machines, milling machines, and lathes, as well as CNC machine tools.
