12.6 mm metal drill bit HSS. Straight-shank twist drill with a cutting diameter of Ø11.6 mm, manufactured to dimensional standard NWKa DIN 338 from modern high-alloy high-speed steel (HSS). This steel offers excellent cutting properties and can be used to machine very hard unalloyed steels, metals, free-cutting steels, non-ferrous metals, and plastics. Straight-shank drills of this type have 2 central cutting edges, ground edges, and specially shaped flutes for rapid chip evacuation up the drilled hole. The tools offered withstand demanding operating conditions and very rarely suffer mechanical damage (cutting edge breakage, dulling, chipping). These advantages significantly extend their service life and reduce overall machining costs. 12.6 metal drill bit mm in our range are designed for various types of milling machines, lathes, drilling machines, and CNC machine tools.
