Ø18.5 metal drill bit with a straight shank
18.5 mm metal drill bit HSS. Advanced straight shank twist drill for unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, bronze, brass, and other hard materials. It is manufactured from special molybdenum high-speed steel of HSS grade, which enables high machining performance. In particular, the drills allow increased drilling productivity and precision. Our drills for metal, 18.5 mm are suitable for various types of drilling machines and machine tools (conventional drilling machines, lathes, milling machines, CNC machine tools). The drills conform to the NWKa DIN 338 standard. Thanks to the properties of high-speed steel (HSS), these drills offer greater resistance to demanding operating conditions, including the high machining temperatures generated during high-speed drilling. The drill cutting edges are properly ground, and their strong edges withstand heavy impacts and lateral forces. Furthermore, they very rarely suffer breakage, cracking, or other mechanical damage, significantly extending their service life.
