Ø1.8 metal drill bit with a straight shank
1.8 mm metal drill bit HSS. A modern NWKa drill bit with a cutting diameter of Ø1.8 mm and a smooth straight shank, for producing through holes and blind holes in components made of metal, carbon steel, tool steel, nonferrous metals, metal alloys, and plastics. Our range includes top-quality straight-shank drill bits manufactured from high-grade molybdenum high-speed steel (HSS). Its properties improve cutting lip durability when drilling under demanding conditions and in very hard materials. The cutting lips resist breakage, chipping, cracking, and even rapid dulling. The drill bits have 2 central cutting lips and flutes that efficiently evacuate chips toward the top of the drilled hole. The point angle is 118°. 1.8 metal drill bit mm is manufactured according to the standard designated DIN 338. It can be used with conventional lathes, milling machines, and drilling machines, as well as professional CNC (computer numerical control) machine tools.
