10.3 mm metal drill bit HSS. Modern straight shank drill manufactured to dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338 designed for drilling through holes and blind holes in very hard and difficult-to-machine materials. Drills of this type are made from special high-speed steel (HSS), which is recommended for machining unalloyed (carbon) steel, metals, nonferrous metals, and plastics. The advantages of high-speed steel are primarily reflected in significantly increased machining productivity, improved accuracy, and greater resistance to demanding operating conditions. The cutting lips resist breakage, cracking, edge fracture, and dulling. They also withstand high-speed machining and the high temperatures it generates (up to 600°C). Our metal drill bit with a diameter of 10.3 mm is suitable for professional machining on milling machines, drilling machines, and lathes, as well as modern CNC machine tools.
