Ø16.5 metal drill bit with a straight shank
16.5 mm metal drill bit HSS. A modern straight-shank twist drill manufactured from special high-alloy HSS high-speed steel. This is a special tool steel that enables holes to be drilled with very high accuracy and provides high machining efficiency. The drills are also suitable for use under very demanding conditions. The high cutting performance of HSS high-speed steel makes the drill suitable for machining materials in classes P1.2 – P1.3, namely metals, unalloyed (carbon) steels, thermoplastics, nonferrous metals, and metal alloys. The straight-shank drills offered in our store are manufactured in accordance with the NWKa, DIN 338 standard. 16.5 mm metal drill bit features two central cutting edges and special helical flutes for rapid upward chip evacuation. Strong ground cutting edges resist impacts and lateral forces. Our NWKa drills ensure precise machining of even very hard materials, with minimal risk of cutting edge damage (breakage, cracking, dulling). They can be used in conventional drilling machines and CNC machine tools. They are suitable for all professional work.
