16.3 mm metal drill bit HSS. A professional NWKa twist drill with a straight shank and a drilling diameter of 16.30 mm. Designed for professional machining of metals, hard unalloyed tool steels, nonferrous metals, metal alloys, and plastics. Its increased hardness, wear resistance, and ability to withstand demanding working conditions come from the special high-speed steel (HSS) used in its manufacture. This steel improves drilling accuracy and productivity. Straight-shank drill bits of this type can be used with benchtop drills, drilling machines, and computer numerical control machine tools. 16.3 metal drill bit mm features two central cutting edges, ground edges, and a 118° point angle. It enables accurate drilling and efficient chip evacuation up the hole. The superior properties of high-speed steel also ensure a long drill bit service life and resistance to mechanical damage, reducing overall machining costs.
