12.4 mm metal drill bit Modern NWKa straight shank twist drill with a diameter of 12.4 mm for drilling through holes and blind holes in materials classified as P1.2 – P1.3. It is made from high-alloy high-speed steel (HSS). Tools made from this steel offer exceptionally high strength, hardness, and durability. They resist rapid dulling, breakage, cracking, chipping, and other damage. This property allows them to remain in service for a very long time. In addition, these straight shank drills enable high-speed drilling, even at the high temperatures generated in the process.12.4 mm metal drill bit has 2 central cutting lips and special flutes for effective chip evacuation. Properly ground cutting edges withstand impacts and lateral forces, further increasing their strength. They are suitable for professional use on conventional and computer-controlled CNC machine tools.
