12.9 mm metal drill bit HSS. Right-hand cutting twist drill with specially ground edges and a 118° point angle. The drill has a plain straight shank and is manufactured to dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338. Straight-shank drills of this type are of solid construction, meaning they are made entirely of special high-grade high-speed steel (HSS). This exceptional tool steel improves the cutting properties of the drills, increases machining productivity (reducing machining time), enables highly accurate drilling, and, above all, improves the tools' ability to withstand demanding operating conditions. Our metal drill bit with a diameter of 12.9 mm are designed for professional machining using powered drilling machines, milling machines, and lathes, as well as computer-controlled machine tools. They can drill holes in P1.2 – P1.3 materials – metals, unalloyed steels, plastics, and non-ferrous metals.
