Ø7 metal drill bit with a straight shank
High-quality straight shank twist drill with a diameter of 7 mm, designed for producing through holes and blind holes in high-hardness materials. Drills of this type are manufactured to dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338, from modern high-speed steel (HSS). This steel offers excellent cutting performance, even in very hard materials such as unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys, and plastics. The drills resist mechanical damage during high-speed drilling at elevated temperatures (up to 600°). The properties of HSS also enable highly productive and accurate drilling. They are suitable for all drilling operations in large metalworking shops, using conventional drilling machines, lathes, milling machines, and even computer-controlled CNC machine tools.
