Ø13.9 mm HSS metal drill bit
Modern NWKa twist drill with a straight shank and a drilling diameter of 13.9 mm, is designed for professional machining of hard unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys, and plastics. It is manufactured to dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338, from special high-grade HSS (High Speed Steel). Compared with drills made from conventional tool steel, our HSS drills offer increased hardness, wear resistance, and resistance to mechanical damage under demanding operating conditions. Our drills are designed for conventional drilling machines, lathes, milling machines, and computer-controlled CNC machine tools. The drills feature two central cutting lips, ground edges, and a 118° point angle. The strong cutting edges withstand lateral forces and impacts. The drills enable highly productive and precise drilling. They also offer a long service life.
