Ø1.6 metal drill bit with a straight shank
1.6 mm metal drill bit HSS. A high-quality twist drill with a smooth straight shank, according to the NWKa – DIN 338 dimensional standard. It is designed for professional drilling of through holes and blind holes. 1.6 metal drill bit mm has 2 central cutting lips and flutes that efficiently evacuate chips toward the top of the hole. The straight-shank drill bits offered are suitable for professional machining of materials classified as P1.2 – P1.3. This class includes carbon (unalloyed) steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys, and thermoplastics. These drill bits are manufactured from modern high-speed tool steel HSS (High Speed Steel). This type of steel features enhanced cutting properties. These properties enable highly productive and very accurate drilling, with low surface roughness in the resulting holes. The high-speed steel used to manufacture the drill bits also improves their resistance to mechanical damage and extends their service life. They can be used with conventional lathes, milling machines, and drilling machines, as well as specialized computer numerical control machine tools – CNC.
