12.2 mm metal drill bit HSS. Straight-shank twist drill manufactured to dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338 from modern HSS (High Speed Steel). This type of steel offers significantly better cutting properties than conventional tool steel, making tools manufactured from it suitable for machining very hard and difficult-to-machine materials. Our drills are designed for drilling through and blind holes in P1.2 – P1.3 materials. These include unalloyed steels, metals, plastics, and metal alloys. The drills have 2 central cutting edges, a 118° angle, and strong ground edges that withstand heavy impacts and lateral forces. 12.2 metal drill bit mm withstands very demanding cutting conditions and therefore resists breakage, cracking, chipping, and other mechanical damage. These characteristics significantly extend service life. In addition, straight-shank drills of this class ensure highly productive and accurate drilling.
