18.25 mm metal drill bit HSS. Straight shank twist drill made of advanced high-alloy high-speed steel (HSS). This tool steel enables highly accurate drilling, high machining productivity, and operation under very demanding conditions. The excellent cutting properties of high-speed steel allow the drill to be used for drilling holes in components made of metals, unalloyed (carbon) steels, thermoplastics, nonferrous metals, and metal alloys. 18.25 metal drill bit mm is manufactured to the NWKa DIN 338 standard. It has 2 central cutting edges and flutes that allow efficient upward chip evacuation. The strong, ground cutting edges withstand impacts and lateral forces. Furthermore, our NWKa drills enable accurate machining of even very hard materials with a low risk of cutting edge damage. They are recommended for drilling machines, milling machines, lathes, and CNC machine tools. Designed for all professional applications.
