Ø20 metal drill bit with a straight shank
20 mm metal drill bit HSS. High-quality twist drill with a smooth straight shank and a diameter of 20 mm, manufactured to the NWKa, DIN 338 dimensional standard. The drills feature 2 ground central cutting edges, a 118° point angle, and special spiral flutes for rapid chip evacuation up and out of the hole. Our drills are suitable for drilling through and blind holes in materials in classes P1.2 – P1.3. These include unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys, and plastics. Metal drill bits with a diameter of 20 mm are made from special molybdenum high-speed steel (HSS). This tool steel increases drilling productivity and precision. Straight-shank drills made from this material offer greater resistance to demanding operating conditions and are harder, more durable, and more resistant to impact and lateral forces. Designed for professional drilling using drilling machines, lathes, milling machines, and CNC machine tools.
