Ø13 metal drill bit with a straight shank
13 mm metal drill bit HSS. Professional twist drill with a straight shank, manufactured to dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338. They are suitable for drilling through and blind holes in hard and difficult-to-cut materials such as unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys, and plastics. The straight-shank drills offered are manufactured from advanced HSS high-speed steel and additionally feature a special wear-resistant TiN (titanium nitride) coating. 13.0mm metal drill bit also features 2 central cutting edges, special ground cutting edges, and flutes for evacuating chips up the hole. This construction makes the drills highly productive and resistant to demanding machining conditions. They resist mechanical damage (breakage, cracking, chipping, edge fracture) and cutting edge wear at the very high temperatures generated during high-speed drilling. Designed for conventional drilling machines, lathes, and milling machines, as well as CNC machine tools.
